FMM Tourist Permit - if traveling beyond the border zone (12-20 miles into Mexico) you must get an FMM (Forma Migratoria Multiple). We recommend filling out the form online and keeping a tangible copy with you at all times along with your passport. As border laws will be enforced, all tourists must fill out an FMM form before traveling to Mexico. While the form may not be checked during your stay, it is required in case of local checkpoints or border enforcement. OTHER transportation, IS TO call a local taxi service. Taxis PREFER cash, so please bring CASH if you plan to use the taxi system.
