Guests are welcome to arrive at any time in the morning, but we kindly ask that everyone is at the hotel by 1:00pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30pm. We understand it might be tricky for some to get ready before the wedding, especially for those not staying the night before. While early check in may be possible, we unfortunately can't guarantee it. However, for anyone travelling on the day of the wedding (14th August), there will be rooms available to freshen up, get changed, or add any last minute finishing touches.
While the menu is still being finalised, we want to make sure everyone is well catered for. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you RSVP.
The ceremony and reception will be held at The Grange Hotel, Station Square, Grange-over-Sands LA11 6EJ. The hotel has 52 beds, of which are on a first come first served basis. There are a few alternative hotels within close proximity of the hotel which are: 1. Cumbria Grand Hotel. Lindale Rd, Grange-over-Sands LA11 6EN (approximately a 15 minute walk away). 2. The Commodore Inn, Main St, Grange-over-Sands LA11 6DY (approximately a 10 minute walk away). ***Rooms at The Grange Hotel may be cheaper on Booking.com*** For those travelling from Newcastle, The Grange Hotel is roughly a 2 hour drive.
For those staying at The Grange Hotel, we recommend car sharing where possible, as the car park is a bit on the small side.
Due to limited space, we're only able to accommodate those specifically named on the invitation. We wish we could invite everyone, but we just don’t have the capacity to extend additional invites at this time.
