Yes! We have a romantic vision for our Charleston nuptials, so we are encouraging all guests to wear garden party formal attire to the wedding and reception. Women: Long dresses in light, flowy or floral fabrics, chic jumpsuits, or dressy separates. Men: Suits or sport coats with dress shirts and ties, or dressy slacks with a blazer. Our wedding is outdoors on the lawn, so plan for grass-friendly shoes and layers for the evening breeze.
The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors at the same venue. The Admiral's House in North Charleston, SC.
With any luck, the sky will be clear, the sun will be bright, and the temperatures will range between 60 and 70 degrees, but -- mother nature is fickle -- so bring a light jacket to ensure you remain cozy.
Of course we are! There will be a served plated dinner, curated in part by our chef friends at "Chopped". There will also be an open bar and dance floor.
Yes, there is parking available at the Admiral's House. My best advice is to use google maps on your smart phone and let technology lead you to the venue!
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm, so please plan to arrive 10 or so minutes early!
