Pike Place Market
Here you can watch someone throw a salmon, eat all the foods you could think of, and experience the city life of Seattle! This is definitely a destination to get to when you are in Seattle! I (Amy) personally recommend finding Storyville coffee and going up for a classic Seattlite hipster cup of coffee to look down on the market, it's my favorite part of Pikes Place! The gum wall may be disgusting, but it is worth seeing, so go down the stairs by the fish throwing and you will see many a chewed gum covering post alley! HAVE FUN!!!
Lake Washington
Lake Washington is a great place to enjoy the water and maybe even feed some ducks! It is located in Kirkland so you can also walk around downtown Kirkland to see the cute boutiques and coffee shops. Our first date as an 'official' couple was a walk on the docks in Kirkland with some coffee! We recommend this just for something a bit more quaint.
Ride the Ducks of Seattle
If your first time to the greater Seattle area is for our wedding then, welcome!!! We love where we live and a good way to get to know the place is this super fun Ride the Ducks tour. It’s based in Seattle and shows you all the best sites around town.
Space Needle
Nothing says welcome to Seattle like going up the Space Needle.
Seattle Ferry Terminal
Have you seen Grey’s Anatomy? This is McDreamys favorite activity and we can’t blame him! The Ferry Rides in Seattle are one of a kind. You just drive your car on, enjoy the water and the amazing view and you end up on Bainbridge island or in Bremerton to enjoy a small town feel for the day.
