I met Amy unexpectedly through a mutual friend at a bar in Somerville. I was immediately smitten... but Amy was not. Despite a few conversations that night, and a failed attempt to get Amy's number, we went our separate ways. I hoped I would see Amy again, and luckily I did. We continued to bump into each other over the course of several months (5 long months exactly), and finally after a few conversations, more shared interests, and some silly jokes, Amy agreed to go on a first date with me.
