FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is Black Tie Optional. Tuxedos and formal gowns are welcome, while dark suits and cocktail-length or floor-length dresses are also appropriate.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late August on Cape Cod is typically warm and beautiful, with daytime temperatures in the 70s and evenings in the 60s. We recommend bringing a light layer for after sunset.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend booking accommodations as early as possible. A limited number of rooms are available at Wequassett Resort & Golf Club, and we’ve also provided a selection of nearby hotels on the Travel page of our website.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are working hard to organize transportation for our guests and would greatly appreciate your help! When you RSVP, please let us know where you plan to stay for the weekend. This information will help us accommodate as many guests as possible and determine the most convenient pickup and drop-off locations. Transportation will be provided from several central locations, with additional details to be shared closer to the wedding weekend

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If a plus one has been reserved in your honor, it will be indicated on your invitation and RSVP.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration unless otherwise noted on your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and portions of the celebration will take place outdoors, weather permitting. We recommend appropriate footwear and attire for a waterfront Cape Cod setting.

Question

What airports are nearby?

Answer

The closest major airport is Boston Logan International Airport. Guests may also consider Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport or Cape Cod Gateway Airport in Hyannis.

Question

What should we do while we’re in town?

Answer

Be sure to explore Chatham, visit Chatham Lighthouse Beach, enjoy Cape Cod Coffee, get out on the water, play a round of golf, and take advantage of everything Wequassett has to offer.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 22, 2026. We kindly ask that you respond as soon as possible so we can finalize guest counts, transportation arrangements, and weekend festivities.
