We are excited to celebrate the start of our marriage at beautiful Camp Pollock. Located along the northbank of the American River on the edge of downtown Sacramento, this 11-acre, 100-year old rustic venue has special meaning to us. It's not only the nonprofit-managed park where Amy works, but it was the site of some of our first lunch dates. Finding a nature-filled venue close to home and supporting the Sacramento Valley Conservancy made booking Camp Pollock an easy choice! GETTING HERE LOCAL - driving your own car, carpooling, or Lyft are recommended. There are not convenient public transit options in this area. There are bike racks and a horse hitching post though. Bonus points if you kayak or paddleboard here. Park admission and parking are free. REGIONAL - consider hotels/Airbnb/vrbo in the Natomas, Arden, or downtown areas. Please don't ask to stay at our house. FAR - Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is the nearest airport and ~20mins away from Camp Pollock.
