What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal. What does that mean? For men- suit or jacket with tie, dress pants and dress shoes. For women- cocktail dresses or dressy separates with heels/wedges or dressy sandals. No jeans nor sneakers, please.

Although we love your little ones, this is an adults only (21+) affair.

Is there parking?
Answer
The ceremony/reception area has ample parking. Vehicles must be removed the following day by 10 a.m. if left overnight, as another wedding will be taking place. If you are staying at The Inn at Herrington Harbour, Rod n Reel Resort, or docking at the marina, a shuttle will be provided. Although it is a short distance if staying at The Inn or marina, it is not walkable. Please see shuttle schedule under "Travel."

Can I take pictures?
Answer
This is an unplugged ceremony so please put your phones away. We want our guests to be present with us in the moment and it is part of our contract with our photographer. You are more than welcome to take pictures once the ceremony is over!

I'm staying overnight, where can I eat?
Answer
The Inn at Herrington Harbour: Ketch 22 is on the premise and is a restaurant that offers lunch and dinner daily. Chesapeake Market and Deli is across the street, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. It also serves and sells beer, wine and spirits. Rod 'n' Reel Resort: 1936 Bar and Grill, CBQ, Boardwalk Cafe, and Rod "n" Reel Restaurant, which are located on the property. Hours may vary seasonally. There are many other options a few miles away in North Beach and Chesapeake Beach.

What if it rains?
Answer
Don't be afraid of a little drizzle! In the event of heavy rain, thunder, or lightning, the ceremony will take place in the Paradise Ballroom.

Is smoking allowed?
Answer
There is a designated smoking area. When on the stone patio and facing the water, it is to your right in the grassy area. Please place butts in designated container.
