Brian and I got tested this week and will test again Wednesday of next week. If you can, we encourage all of our guests to get tested if possible. The town of Amherst has an indoor mask policy for all people regardless of vaccination status above the age of 5 years old. This is applicable to public areas only – mask are not required to be worn in private event spaces( ie: inside the ballroom). Guests will need to wear masks while in the Inn’s lobby, while ordering drinks from the bar, and in the hallways walking to the restrooms.
If plans change prior to the RSVP deadline (12/10), you can easily update your choices using the RSVP page. If your plans change AFTER the RSVP deadline, please let Brian or Amy know as soon as possible! There are specific deadlines with some vendors, so accurate head counts are important; however, we understand that plans change last minute sometimes.
Yes- please refrain from pulling out your phone during the ceremony. We have a super talented photographer who will be capturing the ceremony (and rest of the day- but feel free to snap pics the rest of the night) and we'd hate for any of her shots to be marred by the bright screen of a phone!
While we ask that you leave your phones and cameras away during the ceremony and enjoy being truly present with us during these sacred moments, you ARE welcome to take photos during the reception and use hashtag (still be determined-coming soon) so we can enjoy them!
Please let us know! On your online RSVP you should be able to note that, but feel free to follow up with Brian or Amy to make sure we got it!
Yes, we will have an open bar!
Semi-formal/cocktail attire. Use this as an excuse to break out the fancy outfits - jumpsuits, cocktail dresses, suit & tie, sports coat - just no jeans! Our wedding colors are neutrals with pops of green, rust/terracotta, gold, and brass. Feel free to dress with the theme colors- I've heard it makes the pictures look awesome- please just stay away from the rust/terracotta and sage green to allow our wedding party to pop!
