If you have any other questions, please reach out to Amy at 828-707-1999 or Brett at 828-768-5032.
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests please arrive by 3:30pm at the latest. The start time for the ceremony will be 4pm and this will ensure everyone is able to get parked and seated before the ceremony start time.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we ask that all guests wear formal garden attire. This would be like what someone would wear to church on Easter Sunday, featuring pastels and light colors. Floral sundresses and sandals for women are recommended, and dress pants or slacks with collared shirts and dress shoes for men. We respectfully ask that guests do not wear jeans/ denim, T-shirts, or casual clothing. We also politely ask that guests try to avoid the color black if possible.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

No, we are not registered as we are asking for Honeymoon donations as wedding gifts. We plan to downsize after getting married therefore, we are going to be getting rid of a lot of our belongings. We also genuinely prefer life experiences over gifts and plan to go to DisneyWorld for our honeymoon! We have recently bonded over Disney so it only makes sense that we begin our happily ever after at the happiest place on Earth. You can donate via Venmo: Amy-Godwin-14, there is a link under the registry tab of this website, or at the Ceremony. Anything that is contributed is greatly appreciated!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 4, 2026. If we have not gotten your RSVP either by the website, personal phone call, or personal message by this date, you will be uninvited as we will make our final arrangements based on the number of guests who RSVP. Please specify number of people in your party when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will provide a small variety of light beer and seltzers. If you prefer a certain drink you may BYOB. We kindly ask you to not bring liquor or alcohol that can't be bought in a grocery/ convenient store.
