Who set us up: Amy’s Aunt Nancy who had worked with Brad for several years Where we met: Beetles Bar & Grill

Amy called Brad after Adam and Libby Koenigs’ wedding and asked if he wanted to drive over to Preston and join her at the reception. Without hesitation Brad said “sure”. Brad met almost all of Amy’s family that night. Amy’s mom gave Brad a hug before Amy ever did.

We lived and grew up in Stewartville, attended and graduated from the same high school, for several years lived just a few blocks from each other. Brad’s house was on Amy’s running route. Brad graduated high school one year before Amy. All without knowing each other.

Faith, belief in Jesus, Christian music and concerts, favorite form of worship is through song, Bible study, sports (all of them) but most importantly the Minnesota Vikings, love of neighbors, goofy Netflix shows, love of dogs, lack of cooking skills, and much more.

On our 10 month anniversary we went out to eat where it first started, Beetles. After arriving back at home Brad picked up JoJo from the couch and got down on one knee in front of Amy and said “Will you marry us?”. Response was “100% YES!”.
