Kate! My best friend. My sister from another mister. I honestly believe the universe brought us together with shared similar experiences (and because of Derek) We go plant shopping and run errands together just to enjoy one another's company. Once even taking Easter pictures at Alsip Nursey with her dog Macy just for fun. I truly needed a friend like her in the time we started really hanging out. I cherish our friendship and know she'd fight someone for me. I in return remind her to make Dr. appointments and drink water haha.

I have known Mark for a very long time. Besides making funny sketches while we were younger I am convinced my campus tour at Ball State is one of the reasons I was accepted because they lost my application! Mark is an incredible person and a great friend.

Alex is one of my best friends, who I went to high school with but didn't become friends until years after. You can catch us lovingly calling each other Tiff which sprung from a night of shenanigans. He has had my back from day one and helped me through some tough times. We talk for hours on the phone and look up lyrics to songs and sing them to one another. He's smart, funny, witty and will absolutely call me out if need be. But that's why I love him!

I can not believe I was not friends with Sam at one point! It feels like I've known her forever and thanks to one of Kate*Derek's parties I finally got to meet her. Sam is sarcastic and matches energy, which is why I think we have a lot of fun together! If you're lucky to be in Sam's Circle you would know how much she cares about her friends and the effort to ensure other's happiness. I wouldn't trade our friendship for the world...sorry world.

Devin I met officially back in 2016 I believe and I immediately thought she was super cool and needed to be her friend. Besides being a beauty she is one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet! Devin is always down to have a good time and makes everything look so effortless. Even though I know she works hard to make things happen and other happy. I am so lucky to have her in my life ...plus she laughs at my terrible jokes!

I was never very close to Zach through High School but once we found a common hobby in PC gaming the rest was history. Zach has always been there for me and gave good advice when I needed it. Zach and I have grown close over the years and I am grateful for having a person like him in my life.

I grew up with Derek in Hebron and he has consistently been one of the nicest people I have ever met. Derek is very down to earth and fantastic company to have around. Our friends group has gotten very tight and I am thankful that he and his wife are a part of our lives.

I knew Justin from high school and he has consistently been a good time since I have known him. We have become much more close over the years between his wife being the nicest person on earth and me working with his father in law. Anytime Justin is around I know I am about to have a good time.

We first met Kate on New Year’s Eve 2018, as Zack’s new girlfriend stepping into 2019. Since then, they’ve married, and we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know her more with each passing year. Kate is compassionate, creative, and truly a sweetheart—warm, articulate, and deeply inspiring. Honestly, we can’t think of anyone more fitting for this role, and we’re so excited to hear her share our story.
