The Watershed

For anyone wanting to stay locally before and/or after the wedding, we have a hotel block at The Watershed in Norwalk, which is located 10 minutes from Waveny House. Limited rooms are available Thursday night, with a bigger block open on Friday night. If additional rooms are needed on those dates or any other dates before and/or after the wedding, please reach out to Amy or Anabel and they will arrange additional rooms, pending the Watershed's availability at the time of the request. There are two ways to book: 1) You can call the hotel directly at (203) 750-9800 and mention the group's name (Teixeira/CabaWed2026) and dates to receive the discounted pricing. 2) You can use the link within the "View" button below to book reservations online. Please note that the link works best on a laptop or desktop. On a mobile device, you may need to use the small back arrow on the webpage to adjust dates as it will auto select 2 nights to start.

Train

Metro North

The Metro North train is a great option for those traveling into Norwalk from NYC. Take the New Haven line to South Norwalk. The Watershed is a short 10-minute drive from the South Norwalk train station. If you are traveling directly to the wedding venue, we recommend getting out at the Darien train station, from there it is a 10-minute drive to Waveny House. Please plan to arrive on the early side in case there is any traffic or train delay on the day of.

Parking

There is plenty of free parking available at Waveny Park. If the lots that are located close to the mansion are full, drive over to the New Canaan High School side where you will find additional parking spots.
