Is the marriage ceremony and the wedding reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! We are getting married at The Bower In The Wood which is a licenced wedding venue and where our reception is being held, so once you get to the Bower In The Wood you are there for the day, no need to drive or taxi anywhere else!

Is the wedding really in the woods?

Answer

Yes! We love nature and really want to get married outdoors (fingers crossed for good weather!). We are planning on having our ceremony and wedding breakfast outside and the evening reception inside the Great Hall.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Our venue The Bower In The Wood has approx. 100 car parking spaces, please be aware that it is a dirt carpark.

Are children and babies welcome?

Answer

Yes! kids and little ones are very welcome and named in the RSVP section, please RSVP on their behalf.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

No, The Bower In The Woods has a fully licenced bar on site selling alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages at pub prices.

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

No, to keep our celebration intimate, we are only inviting a select group of close friends and family. Unless your initiation specifically says "a guest of your choice" due to space limitations we cannot accommodate Plus Ones.

Is the venue suitable for those with reduced mobility?

Answer

Yes, even though it is a woodland venue all areas we will be using are accessible and there is a disabled toilet in The Great Hall.
