Old Town Snohomish is one of our favorite date spots. Poke along Main Street, stopping into antique stores, the tea shop, and definitely get a piece of pie! Pie Dive Bar is our favorite, but you can decide between that and Snohomish Pie Bar for yourself.
Waterfront Coffee Company is our favorite coffee spot. Located in Edmonds, it's the perfect place to grab a treat and explore the Edmonds waterfront and Main Street. Edmonds is home to lots of galleries, specialty stores, and restaurants - Moto Pizza and The Rusty Pelican are delicious!
A Seattle classic! Watch them throw the fish, get a crumpet at the Crumpet Shop, or visit the first Starbucks. Pike Place Market is jam packed with lots of places to explore. It is accessible via the Light Rail, or you can use our favorite parking garage at the Seattle Art Museum.
This is the SPOT if you have young guests to entertain. Aaron and Amy are counting down the days until their nephew and niece are old enough to go! Interactive and home to Seattle's IMAX theatre, The Pacific Science Center will fill a day with fun. It is also located downtown near the Space Needle and Chihuly glass museum as well as the Armory, home to a great food court for a midday pick-me-up!
The Seattle ferries are a classic, no matter the season! The Kingston ferry is located in Edmonds and takes you to Bainbridge Island. Bainbridge is an artsy town, perfect for meandering.
Another ferry! The Mulkiteo Ferry will take you to Whidbey, a Helms/Hill favorite! Stop for a fresh bagel at the Whidbey Island Bagel Factor and travel on to explore Langley and Coupeville - cute, small towns with big beach town vibes. Fun fact: Langley is where Aaron and Amy decided they were going to marry each other!
Aaron and Amy go here once a week. At this point, a table should be named after them. Go, enjoy that chicken...don't forget: closed on Sunday!
