Chris had to google what a Matron of Honor was, when Amy told him Michelle was gonna be the Matron of Honor in our wedding. Michelle is truly the glue that keeps Amy's emotions together at all times, no matter what is going on in their lives. A shoulder to cry on (or lean on if wine is involved), a solid friend to talk sh** with, and a 10/10 brunch date.

Best Man
Best man, best dude, radio kindred spirits, and all around handsome devil. 17 years of putting up with the groom's sh**, started when Chris was fresh out of college and moved to Indiana to become a News Director, while Ty was running the morning show. Has repeatedly tried to get Chris to wear lederhosen but he refuses. Turned the groom from a dog guy to a cat guy, kicking and screaming. Has slapped Chris' hand for doing something dumb, so many times, that he has permanent red marks. One of the only human beings who the groom can text at 6am, and he be fully awake. An hour and a half doesn't mean sh** when you have friends like Ty. He also slipped me a 20, and wanted me to tell you that Boogie Tunes Entertainment is available for all your weddings, parties, Quinceaneras, etc.

Maid of Honor
Mercy. It's not just the high school where Ann met Amy. Mercy is also what Chris displays, every night, while Ann and Michelle steal her from him in their group chats. Their friendship carried on through working at Sullivan together for years. Since Ann now has to work with Chris every day, naturally, she had a hand in telling Amy how charming he is, which no doubt led to her passing along her number to him. That alone, is worthy of being named a maid of honor.

Groomsman
The groom's little brother. When Chris was a kid, he accidentally hit him with a baseball bat, and somehow he is still smarter than Chris. 100% chance he will play Eagles at the groom's funeral just to make him mad from beyond the grave. Currently holding up a piece of paper beside me, wanting me to remind you that he is a multiple time district winning High School basketball coach.
Ashley Padgett

Sorority sister, but most importantly, the OG roommate. Ashley endured over a decade of Amy asking her what she wants for dinner, forgetting to take the trash out, and Twilight screaming to drink from the sink, and she still agreed to be a bridesmaid in this shindig. That's real sisterhood right there. A true friend.
Ally Hohman

Befriended the groom's emo *** 20+ years ago when they met at WKU. Boatloads of concerts, food, vent sessions, and random trips later, she still tolerates Chris at his happiest, saddest, grouchiest, and moodiest. An A+ friend to have around, at all times.

The OG Amy Hill. Her parents are essentially Amy's second set of parents. 25+ years of friendship. That's a lot of happiness, hugs, tears, love, loss, and every high and low imaginable. A logical choice to be a bridesmaid. And Chris thanks her profusely, for ensuring Amy always has someone to go to Disney with, so he doesn't have to :)

The groom is convinced that he actually does have a long lost little sister who was born in South Carolina, and her name is Abby. Met at Sullivan University in 2024. 1/3 of a trio of the best/goofiest humans Chris has ever worked with. Loves bugs, possums, stickers, and judging.
Jenny Bencomo

Jenny is unbothered when she finds pictures of boobies on her husband Justin's phone, because Justin is an amateur ornithologist, who loves bird photography. Jenny and Amy are co-workers and friends from Capture for 7+ years. Occasional trauma bonding, karaoke, and lots of wine, and Jenny welcoming her into the family, have brought them closer together throughout the years, and she knew Jenny was a solid choice for the bridesmaid squad.

Everyone needs a snarky Capricorn woman in their lives. Katy is that woman. Met the groom at Sullivan University in 2023. 1/3 of the best/goofiest humans the groom has ever worked with. Loves goblets, puppies, local restaurants, whiney white boy bands, and giggling with her friends.

L's Up. Sam is the Cooper's Hawk Queen, sorority sister, road trip companion, friend since college, and one of 8 (yes 8) current or former Sullivan University employees in the bridal party. She is the only one on this side of the aisle who will sit down and watch Formula 1 with you. Has been there for Amy through all the ups, downs, and everything in between, so of course she is going to be a bridesmaid.

In February 2024, the "reverend" Lauren Gold, who the groom has known since college, sent him a Facebook message, asking if he was ready to date again, after getting out of a long relationship, because she had someone in mind that she worked with. He said yes, and after getting Amy's number two days later, the rest is history. The logical choice to help us exchange vows.
