For our major, it was required to do an internship to meet graduation requirements. By chance, we got selected for the same internship and met each other on the first day. From volunteering and going to events together, we found out we had more in common than we thought.
Adam and I booked a spontaneous trip to Israel with Adam’s sister and her two girlfriends, who were planning to go for their spring break. Adam assisted the girls with the itinerary and planned to go for a hike at Mount Masada, where he secretly planned to propose at sunrise. On the morning of March 13th, we arrived at the mountain. Although Adam kept his cool (as he did the entire trip) he was uncertain I would have the stanima to make it up the mountain before the sun peeked over the horizon. To catch the perfect moment Adam began “encouraging” me to make it up the mountain and even offered to carry me once or twice. After an hour of climbing, we finally made it to the top to catch the most beautiful sunrise. Not too long after re hydrating we began taking photos of the sunrise. Adam’s sister strategically positioned herself to get a view of Adam and I with the sunrise in the backround. Within moments Adam took out a box from his pocket, confidently got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.
