It all started in August of 2014. Alicia was a Student- Athlete in San Francisco, California and Nate was a Student-Athlete in Mason City, Iowa. Along came Chelsey, who was initially a friend of Nate, but then became a friend of Alicia (after being recruited to play at the University of San Francisco). Chelsey had the bright idea of introducing Alicia and Nate (little did she know, 4 years later, they would wed!) In June of 2015, Alicia graduated from the University of San Francisco and decided to move to Dallas, Texas, where Nate and his immediate family are located. In August of 2016, Nate made the wise decision to propose. He invited both the immediate family of Alicia and his own. Of course, Alicia said yes. Now, almost two years later, they are ready to say I Do.
