See you in January!

Jordan and Dylan’s story began long before they ever spoke a word to each other. They first met in high school; Dylan on the football field and Jordan on the sidelines as a cheerleader. While they never officially met, they were always aware of one another. Dylan couldn’t help but notice Jordan, drawn to what he describes as “the sweetest person in the room.” But at the time, Jordan had a boyfriend, and their story quietly stayed unwritten. After graduation, fate brought them back into each other’s orbit at the University of Arizona, where they lived in neighboring dorms and joined neighboring Greek houses, Alpha Delta Pi and Sigma Chi. It seemed like the universe kept placing them on the same path...literally. They’d pass each other often, exchanging quick smiles and waves. There was even a brief attempt to get to know one another… but when it didn’t quite land, things took an awkward turn. Soon, passing each other became a coordinated effort to avoid eye contact. Dylan, suddenly very interested in his shoelaces, while Jordan found the sky absolutely fascinating. Looking back, they can’t help but laugh at how close, and yet how far they were. College came and went without another try. But some stories aren’t meant to end that easily. A few years later, Dylan decided to take one last chance and reached out to Jordan to wish her a happy birthday. What he didn’t know was that Jordan had already been thinking about him and had quietly hoped he might reach out someday. This time, everything aligned. From that simple message, their relationship blossomed into the love they share today. Looking back, Jordan and Dylan often compare their journey to the idea of the Invisible String Theory, always connected, sometimes pulled apart, but never broken. Through every near-miss and second chance, they were always finding their way back to each other. And this time, it stuck for good.
