About Us

Our story begins with an unexpected coincidence. The first time we briefly crossed paths was on October 31, 2021. Exactly one year later, we officially met at a Halloween costume party hosted by a campus ministry we had both joined. Anna showed up wearing a pumpkin and Jared was well dressed as a taco with a tie. It turned out to be the quiet beginning of something much greater. From there, we found ourselves in the same circle of friends, sharing classes, conversations, and community. Over time, our friendship grew, shaped by long drives, shared laughter, and philosophical late night talks. In time we began to sense something deeper forming. Jared asked Anna to his formal. The following night, after attending a game together, we stayed up talking and laughing through the night. The conversation was filled with honesty and openness, and by its end, we had each shared what had long been on our hearts. After taking some time to reflect and pray, we began to make it official on April 29. The coming months brought good news of acceptance to a summer mission trip—an experience that would shape us individually and together. On mission our relationship with the Lord grew stronger, we experienced growth and also some challenges. We began learning what it looks like to walk with one another in both celebration and sorrow. As time went on, we also walked through seasons together that stretched and refined us. Truly leaning on God’s grace, we discovered more of what it means to love one another with humility, to forgive freely, and to place our hope not in our own strength and what we can do, but in Jesus and what He has already done. Through it all, we’ve seen God’s quiet faithfulness drawing us closer. As we step into marriage, we do so with gratitude for all that has shaped us, especially our loving family and friends. We trust in Jesus, the One who continues to lead us. Our prayer is that our life together would reflect the love of Christ which is steadfast, sacrificial, and full of grace (Ephesians 5:25). This covenant is not just our own, but one we make before God, dependent on Him, and grounded in the firm foundation that is Jesus Christ our Lord. We are deeply thankful for the story being written and are incredibly excited to continue the journey, together as family.
