Although Amos and I both attended Pensacola Christian, we never actually met! We knew of each other, and despite mutual acquaintances we never hung out. Our story really began with one simple friend request that turned into hours of conversation. Our first phone call never seemed to end—we talked about everything from our testimonies, life goals, standards, families, church, and dreams for the future. It didn't take long for us to recognize that there was something special here. In early January, Amos flew to Las Vegas for us to meet in person for the first time.  Our very first stop after the airport was ... In-N-Out, of course! He was an absolute gentleman, and I remember thinking he was even more handsome in person. Woohoo! Just a few days later, on January 12, we officially started dating. Dating meant lots of red-eye flights, countless FaceTime calls, and making every moment together count. Through it all, I saw how Amos was everything I've ever wanted in a man. And it's been evident that God had brought us together. Our greatest desire is to love and serve Christ together wherever He leads us. On June 19, Amos, with the help of our families, completely surprised me with the sweetest sunrise proposal. It was everything I could have hoped for, and I said "Yes, Yes, Yes!" We are beyond excited to begin this next chapter together and can't wait to celebrate with all of you as we promise our lives to one another before God, our family, and our friends.
