Happenstance kinda Love

Dec. 14, 2017

The universe was already at work years before Josh & I would ever meet. It pretty much began for me with a brick at the Amitabha Stupa & Peace Park in Sedona, Arizona. At this time in life, Josh was in the Army overseas in Afghanistan. So while in this beautiful park, I came across a brick walkway. Each brick had a dedication, quote or simply a note. As I walked it, I kept getting pulled back to the same brick. So I decided to take a photo of it, maybe it'll mean something someday. We'll get back to this... Skip to 2 years later. Josh & I get introduced through a mutual friend. He brought him over to my place & we instantly "zinged". LIKE HARD. That day went from an afternoon full of deep conversations sitting out front to a late night out of karaoke. From that day forward there wasn't a day that went by that we didn't see each other. And on the 2nd or 3rd day since meeting, we were hanging out at my place talking about spirituality, energy & "witchy" stuff like that. So I mention my trip to Sedona, AZ and what amazing energy that place has. So I start going through my laptop to show him pictures, and as I'm scrolling through them I come across that brick one. I didn't remember what it said so I clicked it on it & it read: " Come on Josh lets go for a walk"! I silently freaked out inside & thought "This guy is gonna think I'm crazy!" The intense beautiful amazing connection him & I were already feeling, made seeing that very emotional for me. I remembered how I kept gravitating to THAT brick. And now 2 years later, sitting next to this amazing man, feeling all I was feeling & seeing that was, C R A Z Y! I had tears welling up in my eyes & didn't want him to see but he noticed something was up. So I handed him the laptop. He was like "whoa" but gave me a biggo hug & didn't leave me LOL Instead there have been many walks, hikes, plane rides & a whole lot of adventure! Needless to say Josh proposed 15 months later on a beautiful sunset hike.
