We met in college in the spring of 2023 through a criminal justice organization and instantly clicked. What started as a friendship turned into something more pretty quickly — within two months, Tyler asked me to be his girlfriend by planning a picnic after overhearing me say I’d never been on one (major green flag right there). Since then, we’ve been pretty much inseparable — even with the long distance! I truly believe we complement each other so well, even when we come from two completely different worlds. We've taught each other so much, and I appreciate how much he respects and genuinely loves being involved in my culture. We're the best of both worlds lol. In November of 2024, Tyler planned my childhood dream trip to Oregon, where my favorite movies (yes, Twilight) were filmed. He proposed on one of the beaches where the movie was filmed, and it was truly the perfect moment. We are so excited for the next chapter of our lives, and we can't wait to bring our families and friends together and celebrate! Desde entonces, hemos sido prácticamente inseparables — ¡incluso a la distancia! Realmente creo que nos complementamos muy bien, aunque venimos de dos mundos completamente diferentes. Nos hemos enseñado muchísimo el uno al otro, y valoro lo mucho que él respeta y disfruta involucrarse en mi cultura. Somos como lo mejor de ambos mundos jaja. En noviembre de 2024, Tyler planeó mi viaje soñado de la infancia a Oregón, donde se filmaron mis películas favoritas (sí, Crepúsculo). Me propuso matrimonio en una de las playas donde grabaron la película, y fue realmente un momento perfecto. Estamos muy emocionados por este nuevo capítulo de nuestras vidas, ¡y no podemos esperar para reunir a nuestras familias y amigos y celebrar juntos!
