El comienzo
2014
Desde el primer momento hubo algo especial entre Claudia y Charlie. Todo comenzó en el verano del 2014, cuando ambos trabajaban como consejeros en Camp Mabó. Hasta el día de hoy, Clau no pierde la oportunidad de molestar a Charlie por su bailesito de Backstreet Boys, que volvió locas a todas las chicas… ¡incluyéndola a ella! 🤪 --- From the very first moment, there was something special between Claudia and Charlie. Their story began in the summer of 2014, when they both worked as counselors at Camp Mabó. To this day, Clau still teases Charlie about his Backstreet Boys dance moves, which drove all the girls crazy… including her! 🤪
Reconectando
2020
Avanzamos al 2020: Charlie entre Atlanta y Puerto Rico, Claudia en Nueva York, y el mundo entero enfrentando una pandemia. Entre nervios y esperanza, Charlie marcó el número de Clau. Ella contestó confundida: —“¿Estás seguro de que querías llamar a Claudia Ramírez, la de campamento?” Del otro lado, Charlie celebraba con sus primos porque ella había contestado. Esa llamada duró una hora. Esa “pequeña victoria” fue decisiva. Con esa llamada, se abrió una puerta que llevaba tiempo esperando el momento correcto. --- Fast forward to 2020: Charlie was between Atlanta and Puerto Rico, Claudia was in New York, and the world was facing a pandemic. With nerves and hope, Charlie called Clau. She answered, confused, asking if he meant to call “Claudia Ramírez from camp.” On the other end, Charlie celebrated with his cousins because she picked up. That call lasted an hour—and opened a door that had been waiting for the right moment.

2021
En febrero de 2021, Charlie viajó a Nueva York lleno de ilusión, decidido a invitar a Clau a salir. Pero la ciudad tenía otros planes: una tormenta de nieve convirtió la cita soñada en una llamada por FaceTime. Aunque no fue como lo imaginó, el viaje valió totalmente la pena. --- In February 2021, Charlie traveled to New York, determined to ask Clau out, but a snowstorm turned the dream date into a FaceTime call. Although it wasn't what he imagined, the trip was worth it.
El encuentro
2022
Charlie y Claudia continuaron hablando esporádicamente. En abril de 2022, Charlie no se había rendido. Con la misma ilusión de siempre, la invitó a salir… con sus amigos. “Guys, necesito que salgan conmigo a janguear porque acabo de invitar a Clau y me dijo que sí.” (Claudia no sabía que era un date… y llegó a la 1:00 a.m.) --- In April 2022, he tried again—this time inviting her out “with friends.” "Guys, I need you to come out with me. I asked Clau out, and she said yes!" (Claudia didn’t know it was a date… and arrived at 1:00 a.m.)
Noviazgo
2022
Desde entonces, no hubo ni un solo día sin hablar. Tuvieron su primera cita oficial en El Escambrón y muchas llamadas por FaceTime — Charlie en España, Alemania y Francia, Claudia en Connecticut— la relación se fue fortaleciendo. No fue hasta el 5 de agosto de 2022, cuando Claudia regresó a Puerto Rico por solo una noche. Charlie ya estaba en la isla y aprovechó para pedirle que fuera su novia, justo antes de que ella partiera a RD y luego a Dinamarca... lejos nuevamente. --- From then on, there wasn’t a single day without talking. After their first official date at El Escambrón and many FaceTime calls across countries, their bond grew stronger. On August 5, 2022, during a one-night visit to Puerto Rico, Charlie asked Clau to be his girlfriend. Right after, Claudia boarded a plane to the other side of the world.
Compromiso
2025
Tres años después, en 2025, en un piano bar del Viejo San Juan, vivieron su verdadero momento "Hallmark". Charlie le cantó Can’t Take My Eyes Off You y le pidió a la mano a Clau. Hoy, con inmensa alegría, los invitamos a celebrar el sacramento del matrimonio: la unión indisoluble de Charlie y Claudia, con Dios en el centro. Gracias por ser parte de nuestra historia y de este día tan especial. --- Three years later, in 2025, at a piano bar in Old San Juan, Charlie sang Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and asked Clau for her hand. Today, with immense joy, we invite you to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage—the unbreakable union of Claudia and Charlie, with God at the center. Thank you for being part of our story and this special day.
