Question

Is the ceremony and the reception in the same place?

Answer

Yep! The entire wedding will be at Historic Shady Lane.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes.

Question

Will the shuttle bus also pick up guests from the Tru by Hilton hotel?

Answer

The good news is the Tru by Hilton is closer to the venue than the Wyndham Garden York at about an 8 minute drive. Since it is such a close drive, shuttle service will not be provided for those staying there.

Question

Can I drive to the Wyndham and catch the shuttle bus there?

Answer

You can, however we cannot guarantee a parking space to leave your car when you hop on the shuttle. Keep in mind, from the Tru by Hilton, the Wyndham is a 10 minute drive in the opposite direction of the venue, and then another 18 minute drive to the venue. If you're staying at the Tru by Hilton, love yellow school busses, and just can't pass down this opportunity to re-live your elementary school days, let me know so I can reserve you a seat :)

Since the wedding is outside, are there sturdy places for people to walk?

Answer

The majority of the wedding is fully outside and in unconditioned space. There is a concrete floor in the cocktail hour and reception spaces. Attendants driving golf carts will be made available for those who have limited mobility.
