It all started with a saxophone. Our first date was at a cozy spot with a live jazz band and a saxophonist playing in the background. It was the kind of night that felt soft and effortless — and somehow, everything just clicked. We connected quickly over the things that matter most to us: how we were raised, our love for family, faith, and the desire to live life fully and intentionally. What started as a simple conversation turned into hours of laughter, depth, and discovery. Over time (and distance), our connection only grew stronger. Whether it was sharing our favorite meals, long voice notes, or spontaneous flights, every moment brought us closer. Then, Ammar asked Laraine to marry him — and she said yes (with happy tears and a heart so full).
