Question

What is an Aqiqah

Answer

Aqiqah is an Islamic tradition celebrated after the birth of a child, where an animal is sacrificed as a gesture of gratitude to Allah. The meat is shared with family, friends, and those in need. It’s a time to offer prayers for the child's health and well-being. We've chosen to donate to Bangladesh and Palestine on Ammar's behalf

Question

Should I still attend if I have a cold?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but for the safety of our newborn, we kindly ask that you stay home if you’re feeling unwell—even if it’s just a sniffle that you think might be allergies. Newborns have delicate immune systems, and even minor illnesses can be serious for them. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to see you when everyone is feeling their best!

Question

When is the Aqiqah?

Answer

Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 12PM to 3PM

Question

Where is the Aqiqah?

Answer

Spice Rack Banquet Hall 2865 McDermott Rd #105 Plano, TX 75025

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For women's wear, Desi attire or formal casual wear (modest dress wear) is welcome. Men are encouraged to wear formal casual attire, such as dress shirts with trousers or chinos. The goal is to dress comfortably yet respectfully for the occasion.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 15th so we can make sure we have everything prepared for the big day! You can confirm your attendance on the website or by contacting us directly. We look forward to celebrating with you!

For all the days along the way
