We’re Eloping! Reception will be 2023

Austin and Alissa are high school sweethearts! They met at an Evangel high school basketball game (where Austin attended high school) in Shreveport, Louisiana. They started off as good friends and became inseparable. After high school, Austin attended Grambling State University and Alissa attended Louisiana Tech University. They fell very much deeper in love in college. After graduation, they moved to Atlanta,GA to pursue their careers and Austin proposed in 2020.

Austin told Alissa that he was surprising her with a weekend getaway at Chateau Elan winery in Georgia. Keeping the trip details to a minimum Austin and Alissa made their way up to Braselton GA, Austin told Alissa that they would be going to a event. After getting dressed and touring the grounds the couple "bumped" into a friend, a photographer, presumably taking shots of the events on the grounds of the winery. We chatted up and he complimented our outfits asking to take a few photos of us. While taking photos, he positioned Alissa on top of staircase and had Austin walk up behind her to surprise her with the proposal. It was beautiful and memorable.
