It's hard to say golf and Family Golf didn't bring us together. The staff at Family Golf would enjoy happy hours together, but before we realized it, we had forgotten to ask our coworkers to join us on our nights out. Our friendship and feelings grew, but that wasn't without some tension in the workplace. Finally after a few cocktails at The Cardinals Opening Day 2021 we finally owned up to our feelings for one another....

We have to thank the Newlyweds, Dr. and Mrs. Shew for inviting us to their beautiful wedding in Tuscany, Italy. I was not going to miss my best friend's wedding so my friend Chelsea and I started planning our perfect summer vacation abroad. I had done a lot of the planning and even created a pretty detailed itinerary. Day two at lunch we were trying to figure out where to go for dinner and Adam and Chelsea had suggested the rooftop bar we found the first night. I quickly shot that idea down, expressing that Rome is a huge city so we need to find a new restaurant and we haven't seen the Trevi Fountain yet. As we arrived at the fountain we were all in awe. Adam had handed us girls some coins to make a wish and then asked Chelsea to take a video of us tossing in our coins and then he would return the favor for Chelsea. Adam was pretty particular about where on the fountain he wanted to sit, trying to get front and center. After making a wish Adam grabbed my hand and started to stand up, but he was moving pretty cautiously. He slowly made his way down to one knee and asked me to marry him. It was a dream come true and Chelsea caught the whole thing on camera (so we have to thank her too)! We spent the rest of the night celebrating around Rome, the city of love <3
