Maid of Honor
A friend since her days at Howard University, Dawchelle is Amira's chaos twin. They've lived, they've laughed, they've tripped(literally, many times, in public, separately and together), they've cried(unrelated to the tripping), and laughed so much more. They hold a sisterhood built to endure it all.
Best Man
A friend since Howard University, our friendship grew fast—we did everything together and eventually became roommates, creating memories I will cherish forever. After graduation, we both headed to law school, continuing to push and support each other every step of the way.
Maid of Honor
From snot nosed kids at Miss Nishan's pizza party, to celebrating at each others graduations parties, Julian is one of Amira's longest friends from her early days in America. Over 20 years later the duo have grown and matured and while distance has physically separated them, its never been too far to keep them apart.
Groomsman
We met at Howard University and quickly bonded over our shared interest in politics. From college classmates to roommates, our friendship has only grown stronger over the years. Thoughtful, vibrant, and always the life of the party, this incredible friend brings energy and insight to every room.
Bridesmaid
A friend of a friend who became a sister. Since meeting through Julian in middle school Amira and Brianna have been there for every major milestone, times of support, and a few (several) bashments in between.
Groomsman
I’ve known him since elementary school, and from day one, he was basically family. Through every chapter of life, he’s been a constant, supportive, and always there when it matters most. Our bond has only grown stronger with time, built on years of shared memories and unshakable trust.
Bridesmaid
Pandemic bonded, Ashley and Amira got close supervising Malcolm, Garrett, and Noah, the boys of 315. While we weren’t able to save them from every L(listening isn’t their strongest suit), they are certainly better off because of our stewardship.
Groomsman
A true childhood friend—we met back in third grade and have been through every high and low together, always coming out laughing. One of the funnest people I know, with a heart as big as their spirit. Kind, thoughtful, and refreshingly direct, he’s always looked out for Garrett and never hesitates to tell it like it is—but always with love.
