We both started working at Victoria's Secret in the Willowbrook Mall in the fall of 2014. After a few nights and weekends spent behind the cash register together, Shyam finally asked one of Amina's friends for her phone number — "strictly for professional purposes" — and the rest was history. They quickly grew close, but were just friends for a while. Their first date was on Valentine's Day 2015: After they finished their shifts at work, they went to Six Brothers Diner (RIP) and spent hours talking and laughing. They didn't make things official until later that year, when Shyam asked Amina to be his girlfriend at his New Year's Eve party, moments after the clock struck midnight. Eight years later, Amina and Shyam are so excited to finally tie the knot.
