I look at Aminah as more than just my best friend. She is my family, sister, and business partner. I met Aminah at the age of 9, while taking a dance class at Palmer Park Community Center. Aminah was my closest dance friend growing up. Later in our dance careers, we decided to compete on the competition team together called the Diamond Dancers. While attending Morgan State University, we were college roommates and took many classes together. At MSU, we danced for the Morganette dance team and modern dance ensemble. We used our summer breaks to direct a summer dance program out of Lake Arbor Community Center. This program evolved into Studio 7 dance company. As of today, she is my official business partner. I'm so proud of Aminah and happy to be apart of her special day.

Minah and I have been friends for many years. We have many memories together from high school, to attending PG Community College days until this present time. She's not only my bestfriend, she's also my sister. I can always count on her when I need someone to talk to or need advice about things. We can sit on the phone for hours just laughing and reminiscing about all the crazy things we use to do as teenagers. We can go days without talking, but when we do talk, we would pick up where we left off. Minah knows how busy and crazy my life gets when I'm running around for my kids. I'm blessed to call her my friend and the Godmother of my daughter Ayionna. I wish her and her husband to be a commitment of love in their future endeavors.
