We met on the golf course I worked at throughout college. I worked on the bev cart and it was just like any other day when I pulled up to hole 4... I don't think either of us knew that would be the start of the rest of our lives! We instantly hit it off and started asking questions about the other, but I was a bit upset when I left work that day and he hadn't asked me for my number. Much to my surprise, I get on instagram a couple of weeks later with a message in my inbox and instantly knew who he was. We picked up right where we left off, and seriously, the rest is history.

Dalton and I traveled to Big Sky, Montana with some of his family after Christmas. We were going to be there a few days, and I was under the impression that we'd all just hang out and go to the mountains to ski everyday. Leading up to the trip, Dalton told me he'd planned for the two of us to go dog sledding on the morning of our second day there. Dog sledding!? Are you kidding!?! If you know me you know anything involving dogs is my heaven. I was so overwhelmed in the best way possible when we got there. We did a round of sledding and then stopped for some hot chocolate before our second round started. Before I could even grab hot chocolate, Dalton pulled me to the side and said that the photographer was going to take some pictures of us a ways away in front of the mountain. At this point I was VERY confused because I hadn't seen Dalton talk to the photographer at all. So we walk a little bit and she positions us in front of the mountain just for "pictures" and as soon as Dalton turned to me and grabbed my hands, I knew what was about to go down. My best friend asked me to marry him and of course I said YES.
