We're Getting Married!

We met at Adams Ribs (Adams Taphouse & Grille). I have been working there since 2013 and Amilcar started there in 2017. We have continued to work there as part time jobs throughout our relationship. Adams has become a big part of our lives.

Amilcar had set up a special dinner at the Choptank in downtown Annapolis. We went with 2 friends who were able to film the proposal and take pictures. After a great dinner the manager and staff came to our table with flowers and balloons. The whole top floor of the restaurant was filled with fun bystanders that began cheering the moment they saw Amilcar get on one knee. After the proposal Amilcar had set up for friends to be at Adams later with a celebration planned. Everything was perfect!

Amilcar is working at Cook Electric and playing on many soccer teams at the same time. He plays for Baltimore City FC as a goal keeper. He received the Golden Gloves award in 2023 and helped bring the team to their first Championship Win! In 2023 alone Amilcar was able to play on three teams and win three Championships! Becky is working as a nurse at Anne Arundel Medical Center on the Observation Unit. She still works part time at Adams Taphouse & Grille.
