Question

Is a COVID-19 negative test result required?

Answer

Yes. More and more people that are fully vaccinated are testing positive for COVID so now our venue is requiring all guests to show proof of a negative COVID test prior to attending our wedding. We understand that this is frustrating, but this would mean the world to us if you all are there to spend our special day with us.

Question

When should I get tested and how do I show proof?

Answer

The test should be taken 72 hours from 9/9/21, so please schedule your COVID test no earlier than 8am on Monday 9/6/21. Please text a photo of your negative COVID test along with your full name to Junna Belle (the maid of honor) at 408-314-0592 by 9/9/21 at 11pm. We are collecting results the day before since we will be busy on the day of the wedding getting ready for the event. If you fail to text your results by the deadline, then you unfortunately won’t be able to attend. For those of you who wish to no longer attend because of this new requirement, we are sad to see you go but completely understand. If that is the case, please let us know by Friday 8/20/21 so we can update your RSVP. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. For any questions or concerns please text Junna Belle at 408-314-0592.

Question

Where can I get tested?

Answer

Kaiser offers their members free COVID tests. If you do not have Kaiser and are in the Santa Clara county, you can visit the site below to find a testing site near you. https://covid19.sccgov.org/covid-19-testing

Question

If I can't get to a testing site, where can I buy a rapid COVID test?

Question

Will you encourage social distancing and masks?

Answer

8/8/21 UPDATE: The wedding venue is requiring masks when indoors unless eating or drinking. Please be sure to bring your own mask since we won’t be supplying masks at the venue. We are expecting between 100-120 guests but won't be enforcing social distancing since everyone is fully vaccinated and will be wearing masks. If you are still uncomfortable, we encourage you to refrain from handshakes, hugs, or other physical contact with any guests outside of your household. Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Daytime Semi-Formal Men can wear a lightweight suits or dress pants-and-blazer combination in a light color, necktie optional. For women, this is a great time to wear a lightweight, light-colored day dress or floral dress. The lighter color suggestion isn't mandatory but please be sure you are dressed in semi-formal attire. Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be taking place?

Answer

Both events will be at the same location but the ceremony will take place outdoors in front of the gazebo and the reception will take place indoors. Signs will be placed to help you find your way. Please visit the Schedule tab for more information.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
