Our story began when we both made the decision to follow Christ. We first met in 2022 through a home group at Church of the Rock, and our friendship slowly grew from there. Even though we felt a connection early on, we chose to wait and trust God’s timing. In 2023, during a young adults retreat, we spent hours talking and really getting to know each other. The next day, one of us asked the other out for coffee — to which the reply was, “I don’t like coffee… but we can go for sushi :)" From that moment, our journey together truly began. Like any relationship, we’ve had our ups and downs, but every season has shaped us and strengthened us. Through it all, God has been building a firm foundation in Christ — one that we are so grateful for today. We are deeply thankful for God’s faithfulness, and for our pastors, mentors, friends, and family who have guided, supported, and prayed for us along the way. We can’t wait to begin this new chapter together, entering into a covenant with God.
