Accomodations
We will be reserving the accommodations for exclusivity of the property. You will NOT have to book any room during the wedding period (5/4-5/7). For the 3 night stay Cost of accommodation is $900.00. Housekeeping and Breakfast are included in the stay. Please let us know if you require an extra bed or crib. There is a 20 € refundable cash deposit on check in for the room keys. ATMs in Italy generally do not charge a fee(its built into the exchange rate) and is most likely more reasonable than ordering euros from your bank.

Farmhouse Villa Palagetto
Villa Palagetto is exclusively for us! Accommodations, Welcome dinner, Ceremony, and Reception will be held on site. The Villa offers Spa Treatments and wine tasting upon request. Please use the address above or type in "Farmhouse Villa Palagetto" on google maps for reception. We found out the hard way, Apple Maps will bring you to the wrong location.
Flight
Flight Information
The easiest airport to travel directly to the venue will be Florence Peretola Airport, a 1hr drive. In addition, Pisa International Airport is slightly further, 1hr 15min, and may have more flight options. Rome airports will provide direct flights if traveling from a larger city but is 3hr 30min drive to the venue.

Rental Car
A rental car is suggested but not required for your trip to Tuscany. I suggest reserving with a reputable, American company such as Hertz, National, Avis, etc. Insurance will most likely be required but your travel credit card may provide this so be sure to check! And no need to worry, Italians drive on the right side of the road also.

Cab/Taxi
If you opt to use a taxi or cab during your stay in Italy, we suggest asking initially if they will take credit card(they almost all do but many drivers will become upset due to not being able to try to add fees that the cab company does not condone).

Bus
A bus is available from the main bus station in Florence near the train station to San Gimignano. There is a stop and change at Poggibonsi. Buses run 2 times per hour. Tickets are available at the station.

Stays Before and After
Airbnbs are plentiful in Tuscany. In the cities, we have found hotels are more reasonable as of late. Do your research if planning on bringing your rental car into the city to park due to ZTL areas(you need a permit to drive into certain areas of Florence and other cities). If you have any questions on areas to stay in or hotel suggestions, feel free to reach out. If you wish to stay on property after the wedding, we do have discounted rates available.
