Ami and Viral’s love story began like many others, a well timed swipe to the right and a small push from mutual friends. After a month of texting, Viral decided to take it offline and asked Ami on their first date in NYC where they spent hours talking over Mexican food and spicy margs. While Viral had an apartment in NY, he was traveling to Pittsburgh often for work–leading to the start of their long distance relationship.

In October 2021, Viral decided to pop the question. In efforts to throw Ami off, Viral planned the proposal on a busy weekend, a few days after her board exam and friend’s wedding. Answering one of the most important questions of her life was the last thing on her mind. With the help of family and friends, Viral rented out an art gallery to display photographs of the two of them with the last one being of the exact ring he put on Ami’s finger. The surprises were endless, followed by a photoshoot, dinner, and a party with their closest friends and family!
