Please make use of this service, and celebrate with us stress-free! *please let us know if you will need to make use of this service, so we can appropriately account for each child. *Infants under 18 months are welcome to stay with their parent during reception if desired.

A Zaffa or "wedding march", is a musical procession of bendir drums, bagpipes, horns, and belly dancers. This is an ancient Arab tradition. When the procession reaches its destination, usually the house of the bride or groom, there is usually a party, more loud noises, and then dinner. The whole thing usually lasts at most 10 minutes. We are having a Traditional Zaffa entrance to celebrate and incorporate Ami's Egyptian heritage. No need to stress, all you need to do is smile, clap, dance along! If you really want to prepare, here's a traditional "Zaghrouta" (call of joy) that you chant for Bride and Groom as they enter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoYwWrVTsj8
Not to boast...but not only do we have a rather good looking guest list, we also have a very vaccinated guest list (99%.) However, in light of the recent Omicron variant we are taking steps to keep our wedding as safe as possible: 1. If you are not vaccinated, we ask you please show proof of negative COVID test taken within 48-hours of our event. Please send to Ami or Sam (contact information above.) Thank you xoxo! 2. If you're not feeling well and having any symptoms of COVID-19, we ask you get a COVID test regardless of vaccination status prior to coming to the wedding. 3. Masks and PPE are of course welcomed! We will not be requiring them, however please do what makes you feel most comfortable and safe. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions or concerns. Ami-akirollos@me.com (518-637-7215) Sam-sam.wandolowski@gmail.com (630-864-8325) We can't wait to celebrate with you!
See our "travel" page for our recommendations for hotels that are closest to venue and most appealing areas of Atlanta. We currently have a room block at the "Loews" hotel in Midtown. Please check back to see if other hotel blocks open. Feel free to check rates at nearby hotels, as they will likely be competitive this weekend.
