I have always looked up to her for that and am so lucky to have her in my life. If you want to strike up a conversation with her, ask her about pharmaceuticals or basically anything else science-related that I still don't understand.

Shefali is my other older sister and ever since I was little, I have always wanted to be as glamorous as she is- which is why I read her diary in elementary school and stole all her clothes. I (and my closet) don't know where I would be without her. She is one of the most selfless people I know and I am so blessed to have her as my sister and best friend!

The eldest sibling is not officially a Shivapurkar anymore but she surely packs the family traits: loud and crazy. Aditi taught me how to be in touch with my feminine side by spending countless hours watching Bravo and reading US Weekly together, so you can say she played a crucial role in Puja liking me.

What can I say about Omar? He is literally the nicest guy I know. I met Omar at Accenture and we instantly bonded over our love for Kobe and the Lakers. Little did I know he is just a huge bandwagon fan of everyone. We have a lot in common and can talk about anything. We've been able to travel to a lot of different countries together and somehow he also finds a way to make things interesting (ask him).

I met Meera when I was 15 years old and she planned my surprise sweet sixteen party even though she couldn't be there. To this day, we still go above and beyond for each other's birthdays. (mostly because we know we're both huge brats). She knows me better than I know myself, which is why Amey enlisted her to help with the proposal. From college roomies to living in Chicago together, she is more like a sister than a best friend. I can't imagine this day without her!

I met Felipe at Accenture. We spent most of our time figuring out what we could do other than work, researching fitness/diet plans, and arguing over who had more power at work (me). Nowadays, we pretty much focus on how to retire when we are 35.

Divya is one of my oldest friends and we have been besties since age 10. I can't even describe the amount of trouble we got into growing up but I wouldn't want to have these memories with anyone else. We would spend hours on the phone with each other without even speaking or AIM each other from 2 different computers in the same house. (How did we grow up so normal?) She is the kind of friend who will drop everything if you need her and be there with you for the good & the bad. She is my movie nachos sister for life and I am so lucky to have her in my life!

I met Jarek at Accenture because my co-workers told me he wears a lot of Jcrew too and you should go meet him. Our bond went on to dominate many DC social sport leagues. Mainly because we took them more serious than everybody else.

I met Brittany at La Senza when I thought I was her boss (but I basically was though) and we bonded over lots of long nights crying in the bra sample room. We quickly became best friends and spent most days plotting how to be famous. Brittany not only helped me thoroughly Facebook stalk Amey after our first date but she's been there every step of the way since then. She has the biggest heart in the world and I am so excited to continue our adventures in Chicago with her.

I met Sid 21 years ago when I just moved to Texas and he is one of the funniest people I know, after me. We (along with Greg) went on to create the epic rap group, 8 Bawlers, and spent hours making rap songs in my room. I still believe if Youtube/Instagram was around back then we would be selling out concerts everywhere.

I met Sanjana in high school and we quickly became BFFs mostly because we both think we are the funniest people ever. From performing synchronized hip hop dances at Ugly Tuna together to making friends with cops at Taco Bell, she is the kind of person that can light up any room and make anything fun. In high school, our obsession with rap, soccer, and a video game, SOCOM, brought us extremely close. Probably had something to do with us being at each other's house 24/7. We were both extremely competitive, so most of our conversations were usually yelling at each other about the other person not doing something right and it was great.

I met Angela on Amey's birthday yacht and instantly knew I wanted to be her friend. After I made the first move by asking her for workout tips, she quickly became one of my best friends in Chicago. She is not only my favorite personal trainer, but also the best person to go to if you need some hardcore rap music recommendations. She is one of the kindest people I know and I am so happy to have her by my side!

I met Greg in 5th grade. He just moved in down the street and I only wanted to meet him because he had the biggest backyard I ever saw. We played for hours everyday and, growing up, I don't remember going more than a day or two without seeing him.

Kaya is my mini BFF and the best little princess and niece ever. She loves butter pasta, pitch perfect and hanging out with family and friends. I have loved getting to see her grow into such a smart, funny and sweet person. I can’t imagine this day without her in it!

Kavi is my nephew and 2nd mini BFF (even though I think he has grown to like hanging out with Amey more than me). His favorite things are OSU football, buffalo wild wings & copying everything Kaya does. Despite his wildness, he is incredibly kind and caring and the best cuddle buddy in the world.
