It was the summer of 2024. Our story began with an awkward bro hug and hours of conversation over tacos. While it was our first time meeting, something about each other's presence felt like home. Before our first date, each of us had been in much prayer and waiting for a love that would last a lifetime, but neither of us could expect what the following days and months would bring. Leading up to our night at Chivo's, a week and a half was spent getting to know one another through text, finding common interests, and building up nerves to see each other face to face. When the time finally came to meet each other, it felt like we had already been friends for a long time. Needless to say, after five hours of conversation, we knew we had found something truly special. And after a month together, we each knew that this was the love we had prayed for. The following months were spent building a foundation on the Lord with much prayer, deep conversations, integrating into each other's families, and planning for a future. Our dates have consisted of many days at the gym, paddle boarding on the lake, cheering on the Vols, and making memories with friends and family. Laughter and conversation have abounded and together we built a friendship and a romance that we're excited to continue throughout the rest of our lives. The Lord has blessed each of us in so many special, dare we say, even miraculous ways. And we are so grateful to Him for the love story He has written for us. P.S.
