please arrive promptly!! the first event of the night is the ceremony, which is at 4pm. yes, the invitation says 4:30.. we messed that up - do not listen to that. 4PM!!! the rest of the evening will take place at the same location. cocktail hour is after the ceremony, dinner is after cocktail hour, and partayyy is after dinner. the DJ will wrap up at 11pm.
if you see your child in your party when you use the QR code or link to RSVP, then they are invited. however, the event will be largely adult oriented (music with expletives, alcohol, marijuana later in the evening, etc.), and no childcare will be provided. there also may be limited children’s food options depending on how refined their palates are. so, please feel free to bring your children if you're comfortable, but use your discretion when deciding.
the dress code is semi-formal/cocktail: tuxes, suits, gowns, and cocktail dresses. you will be walking on gravel and grass most of the time, so for those wearing heels, plan for wedges or a block heel for the most ease.
there will be a shuttle from the reception at Yokayo Ranch to your hotel in Ukiah; it runs from 7pm to midnight. please plan to uber/taxi to get to the event at 4pm. there is some parking at the venue, but please plan ahead and do not drink and drive.
there are plenty of hotels and inns throughout Ukiah and the neighboring towns, so take your pick. the shuttle service will stop at all the Ukiah hotels, and there are taxis if you miss it. please visit the "Travel" tab for a list of lodging in the area.
since we have already been living together for over 5 years, we aren't in dire need of items to fill up our home as newlyweds. this is why we're simply asking for contributions to a cash fund.
we have hired a professional photographer, so please put away your phones and keep them (and your kids) silent and during the ceremony and key moments like the first dance and toasts. live in the moment and watch us get married with your own two eyes - you’ll get to see the professional photos soon! we will have film cameras for guests to capture moments throughout the night after dinner, so have fun with those! drop them in the designated basket at the end of the night, and we will develop and share the photos after the wedding.
hors d'oeuvres, both vegetarian and not, will be provided during cocktail hour. dinner also includes a vegetarian and non-vegetarian option. dessert will be provided as well. we will serve signature cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
