The story of Zach and Amelia began months before they even met, an idea cooked up by Alexandra Curtis and Gloria Smith to fix up Alex's new friend the math teacher with Gloria's wild eldest child. One cold night in January 2013, Adam and Alex Curtis picked up their friends for a double date - dinner and drinks, then bowling in Sedalia. Zach thought Amelia was quiet and didn't seem interested so he was just out to have a good time, but little did he know she was just an extreme introvert and was completely smitten with that boisterous bearded man. It took months for Zach to coax Amelia out of her shell. They're first kiss wasn't until two months after that first date! But eventually they both figured out that they were meant to be.
