Haley and I have been friends since we were little tadpoles on the swim team together. Even though Haley was in the grade below me, we were close throughout middle school, high school, college, and graduate school. From crazy adventures during a Dane Cook performance, to tattoos and piercings, to spending many St. Patrick's Days together, Haley and I spend most of our time laughing together. We have been friends for over 20 years, and I am so grateful to have a friend like Haley stand next to me on my wedding day.

Eric and I met in college. What more do you need? He brews beer; I drink that beer. I like Eric. He hugged a toilet once while naked. That's why we're friends.

Kirby and I have been friends since grade school and have had all kinds of adventures together. Just to show how dedicated we are to each other we got matching friendship tattoos before going our separate ways for college. Good thing it stuck! Kirby is one of the kindest humans I have ever met, and I am so lucky to call her one of my best friends. Her goofy personality never fails to bring a smile to my face. I cannot wait to laugh and create more memories with her on my wedding day.

Abbie Gould

Abbie and I were lucky enough to be selected as roommates for our freshman year of college. I had to get used to her wanting to run very long distances, and she had to get used to my alarm going off at 5 am for swim practice. We didn't have to get used to how each of us kept our side of the room: messy. We liked each other so much that we decided to be roommates every year for the rest of college. I am truly honored to call Abbie my friend and am excited to share my wedding day with her by my side.

Jordan and I were roommates during our freshman year of college and swam together all four years of college. I knew we were going to be good friends when I heard the way she sang to songs in the car...that's also how I knew she wasn't going to Luther as a vocalist :). From Ke$ha concerts to Twins/Red Sox games, Jordan is the type of friend who is willing to go on adventures with me and I'm so lucky to have her. I can't wait to celebrate with her on my wedding day.

Leif is my friend. We worked together in Oregon. He's very good at golf, but I don't know if he could walk the entire course. We drive the same car but he never drives his; he prefers riding his electric longboard to work.

Steph is one of the funniest humans I've ever met. She was a year ahead of me in college, and we were on many relays together on the swimming and diving team. We've had so much fun together over the years, including creating our own secret club and having inside jokes that no one would even want to be a part of. Steph can turn any situation awkward or funny...or both. I can't wait for her to be a part of my big day.

I met Jim in college. He was my roommate. He enjoys throwing cereal and knocking giant containers of cheese balls out of people's hands. I once saw him perform a ritual while surrounded by peanut M&Ms. WOW.

Cassie was one of the swimmers who was older than me who took me under her wing when I was a freshman. I love her sense of humor and love spending time with her. She is also one of the most caring people I've ever met. I had the privilege of being with her when she received the nickname "Crossing Guard Cassie," and I think I may have actually been the one who gave her that nickname. I'm lucky to have her with me on my wedding day.

I met Matt while working with him in Oregon. He brews beer. I don't get to drink his beer. I'm better than him at fantasy football.
Sara Fligelman

I met Sara in graduate school, and I'm not sure I would have made it through without her! She made graduate school manageable and even helped me get a part-time job to help with expenses. We had many adventures together in Portland and even played a few games of True American. She has graciously agreed to be my personal attendant for my big day, along with our other WBF (worst best friend), Vanessa. We call each other WBFs because one time when we went to the grocery store together we all slipped walking in. Vanessa and I grabbed each other so we wouldn't fall and let Sara fall to the ground. Sara knighted us as WBFs that day, and it has stuck ever since. Sara has had my back since the start of graduate school, and I'm lucky to have her supporting me on my wedding day.
Vanessa Hara

I met Vanessa in graduate school in Oregon, and we have had some fun times together! We went to a Portland Trail Blazers game early in graduate school when we didn't really know each other, and we have been friends ever since. She too has participated in a few sessions of True American. Vanessa is one of the smartest and most talented humans I know, and I'm so lucky that she agreed to be my personal attendant. As you may have already read, Vanessa is one of my WBFs (worst best friend), along with Sara. Sara gave us this nickname when Vanessa and I decided to save each other from slipping and falling when walking into a grocery store and let Sara fall to the ground. We have called each other WBFs ever since. My wedding day is in good hands with Vanessa supporting me.
Leslie Rawson

We met Leslie our freshman year of college on the Luther Swimming and Diving team. She's our badass friend from Alaska, so she was better able to handle any inclement weather we had in Iowa. When Leslie was in the nursing program, Amelia was lucky enough to be one of Leslie's mock patients for an enema (Amelia did NOT know what an enema was at that time but quickly learned). Leslie has always been a voice of reason for Amelia and ready to party at a moment's notice, even if it's just Amelia and Leslie playing beer darts on the front lawn by themselves. We are so excited to have Leslie be a part of our big day!
Chandler Roberson

We met Chandler in college. He was once a wizard. He used to give Amelia kisses on the cheek at swim meets and fart on Tim's hand while working at Culver's. Chandler has always had a very kind heart, and we are honored to have him help us on our wedding day.
Camden Ladd

Camden is Amelia's nephew who can keep you entertained for hours. His past obsession with cicada shells kept his aunt busy lifting him into trees to knock them down with a stick for hours. Camden also kept Uncle Tim occupied for hours pretending a pantry was a camper. He has quite the imagination! He is also quite interested in frogs, worms, and animals in general. It is obvious that he is going to be quite the hunter and fisherman when he gets older thanks to his father. Amelia and Tim are excited to have Camden be a part of the wedding day regardless of if he makes it down the aisle. He will be a fun addition!
Roslyn Ladd

Roslyn is Amelia's adorable niece who typically runs the show. She enjoys spending time with her older brother and watching Frozen, along with many other Disney movies. She just has the best little personality already, and be aware that she may just steal the show on our wedding day, which is completely alright with us! Amelia and Tim are excited to have Roslyn be a part of our wedding day and can't wait to see her attempt to make her way down the aisle!

When Amelia and Tim decided that they wanted a friend to marry them, there was no question that Devan would be the perfect person to do this! Devan has the kindest heart and is full of love. She's not afraid to share her feelings with others and that's what we love about her! We can't wait to hear what she comes up with for our ceremony, and we are so thankful that she agreed to be our officiant!
