What is the Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. Ladies should wear a full length dress and men should wear a suit and tie or a tuxedo. To all the guests that are staying at the Detroit Athletic Club, denim is not permitted.

Is parking available at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking at the ceremony and the Detroit Athletic Club has parking for a small fee. Please bring cash if you plan to Valet.

Am I allowed to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from taking pictures and videos during the ceremony. We will have professional photography and videography and want to avoid pictures/videos with a sea of iPhones.

What should I do before the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will end around 3:00pm and our cocktail hour will start at 5:00pm. We recommend checking into your hotel during this time or stopping somewhere downtown for a drink :)

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend you arrive to Sweetest Heart of Mary 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Will there be a shuttle service from the hotel to the reception?

Answer

No. All of our hotels that we blocked off are within walking distance of the DAC.
