Alyson Smyth

Maid of Honor

Alyson is my older sister, by only 18 months. She has always been the nurturer of the family and I know I can always count on her, no matter what. My favorite memory with Alyson was when we were little, Alyson sat me down in front of the TV (I was 3 years old), and took a pair of lil tike scissors and began cutting my hair. I ended up with a bowl cut and VERY choppy bangs (HAHA). Alyson is one of my biggest role models and someone I look up to. She works as a NICU nurse at Sparrow Hospital, and has inspired me to go back to school to become a nurse. Alyson has the kindest heart and always puts others first. Thank you for being my critic and biggest fan, I would be lost in this world without you. I love you!

Olivia Smyth

Maid of Honor

Olivia is my little sister and one of my best friends. Growing up we were inseparable and that has never really changed. One of my favorite past time memories is when we thought it would be a good idea to paint the room we shared HOT pink and black, without asking permission, or when no one told us we needed to get an oil change on the first car we shared, and we blew the engine. There was never a dull moment when we were together. Despite liv being younger than me, I have always looked up to her. She's smart and driven in a way I've never seen before. After liv graduated UofM in 2015 she moved to Madison, WI and recently moved to Chicago. Despite the distance between us, we will always remain as close as ever. Olivia, I love you and I am so blessed to have you in my life.

Meagan Lesperance

Meagan went to a neighboring high school and we shared a few mutual friends but we officially met in 2013 during a group workout class. We quickly bonded and shortly there after she became one of my best friends, or as I like to say 'honorary sister'. We have the type of friendship that if one of us needed something at 3am, we'd jump in the car and come to each others rescue (may have happened before ;) ). One of my favorite memories with Meagan is driving the scenic route to her grandparents place on Torch lake and exploring Traverse City for days. Meagan shines so much light in my life, with her positive, wanderlust outlook on life. I will forever be grateful for you and our friendship. Side note, Meagan and Mitch were actually really good friends in high school, small world!

Hannah Fitzpatrick

Hannah and I met right before freshman year during basketball camp at East Lansing high school. Coming to East Lansing from a very small catholic school, I was so lucky and blessed to have met Hannah. She befriended me and we instantly became best friends and roommates after high school. There are SO many memories with Hannah, but my favorite is when we attempted to move a BIG table from your parent's house to my apartment, and I had to stand on the rear bumper holding on to that table for dear life. Hannah is that friend that no matter how much time has passed, you pick back up right where you left off.

Audrey Smyth

Audrey is the *baby* sister! When I found out in 2008 that I was going to have another sibling, I was beyond the moon excited. I was not surprised when we found out it was a girl (HA), sorry Dad! Audrey lights up our world. She is the smartest kid I know--when she was 11 months old, she could count to 10 in SPANISH. Her humor is one of a kind and her vocabulary -- she knows WAY more words than I do at 30 years old. She impresses me everyday with her eccentric personality and her ability to make everyone in the room feel special. Audrey, don't ever stop being you. I love you so much!

Elizabeth Dwan

Elizabeth is the 4th sister in our lineup and she is someone you can always count on. When I went back to school and transferred from LCC to MSU, Elizabeth was in her senior year there; I would literally text her everyday in a panic as I was lost somewhere on campus and had no idea where my class was. She always came to my rescue. My favorite memory with Elizabeth is when we made our notecards for our physics final, literally crammed so much information on that thing, it was barely legible. Also our trips to the cottage, laying in the hammock, without a care in the world. I will always treasure the bond we have, love you!!

Emily Leach

Bridesmaid

Emily is the 2nd youngest sister of mine but you would never know that, she is wise well beyond her years. Emily has such a kind heart, and would literally do anything for the people she loves. My favorite memories with Emily definitely take place at our cottage. All our walks to the dunes, sitting by the campfire at night, going to Pentwater, and so much more. Emily is one of the best listeners and non-judgmental person I know. Thanks for always being the best Em, love you so much!

Katherine Leach (Cusick)

Katherine is my little sister (#5 out of 7), who is also getting married this year, just 6 weeks before me! We have realized throughout wedding planning, that we literally have the exact same taste (on everything)!! It has been such a blessing being able to plan one of the biggest days of our lives, together. When I think of my favorite memory, the one that always comes to mind is when I put hair extensions in her hair (she was probably 6) at our sister Elizabeth's basketball tournament haha. Also, our late night tik tok's with Liv! I am so happy for you (and Taylor), love you guys!

Ashely DenBoer

Ashley and I met 8 years ago when I started working at Dick Scott Motormall. Most people know, car dealerships can be very intimidating and is mostly men. Granted, my cousin was my boss but Ashley quickly took me under her wing and now she is one of my best friends. Since our friendship began, I got to watch Ashley marry the love of her life, Nate, have 2 beautiful girls, and move to Grand Rapids. Ashley always supports, encourages, and cheers me on in every life endeavor. I am so blessed with your friendship Ashley <3
