Amelia and Matthew grew up just 18 miles (22 minutes) apart, but somehow it took 19 years for them to meet. They lived in the same small world for years - overlapping towns, mutual connections, familiar places, and they never knew it. For nearly two decades, they were just missing each other. Ironically, it wasn’t until they both moved to Clemson - the farthest from home either had ever lived at the time - that their paths finally crossed. Proof that Clemson really is God’s country. On May 15, 2019, mutual friends hanging out took an ordinary night and turned it into the start of everything for Amelia and Matthew. Looking back, it’s evident that there was an invisible string tying us together all along - 18 miles, 19 years, and countless “almosts” - just waiting for the right moment to pull them together.
