Amelia’s brother, Taylor, and Josh were partners for the science fair their Freshman year. Josh came over to the Minson home to work on the project. A year later, Josh and Amelia sat next to each other in math class, where they really started liking each other... and the rest is history!

Amelia’s dad gave his blessing in June and the planning commenced! Josh was thinking of proposing under the stars somewhere. However, a golden opportunity came along when Josh was invited to meet Amelia’s family in Lousiana. He decided this was his chance! How romantic would it be to propose where Amelia felt most at home? His under-the-stars plan was dashed to pieces after finding out it rains constantly in Louisiana. However, an extra boat and a break in the weather presented themselves. A boyfriend took his girlfriend out for a paddle around the canals and two fiancées came back!
