Matron of Honor
Hannah and I met at summer camp when we were 10 years old, realized we were basically neighbors, and were pretty much inseparable after that. We've been almost through every major life stage together, through middle school, high school, college, seeing her enter into marriage and motherhood, and just trying to figure it all out as we go. We just keep trying to fulfill all our childhood dreams together, and having her stand by my side of my wedding day is definitely one of them.
Matron of Honor
Kelsey and I met on Facebook right before we graduated from college, as we were both searching for roommates. We actually met in person for the first time the day we moved in, and we became very fast friends and now I can't imagine life without her. We've survived a lot of crazy things together in our years as friends, surviving COVID quarantine, nursing life, and just regular life. She has helped me grow and change for the better and I'm so blessed to have her in my life.
Bridesmaid
Casey and I met in college when I joined the club swim team my freshman year. A few months in to knowing her and another teammate, she asked me if I wanted to live with them the next year. Seeing how I barely knew her, I was a little shocked, but thankfully, I agreed. She quickly became one of my best friends, and even though we live in different states now and not the same apartment, I can still say that. We have gotten to go on many adventures together visiting each other in our different states and spending lots of time talking and facetiming. I'm so grateful for our years of friendship and am so glad she'll be by my side of my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Meredith and I became friends through the craziness of nursing school. We started as study buddies and soon formed a bond that only struggling through nursing school together can create, and it created a lasting friendship. We were by each other's sides for all the crazy ups and downs that is nursing school, and now through every day life. We've been on so many adventures together throughout the years, and I have no doubt there will be many more. I've loved having her in my life and I'm even more excited to have her stand with me as Josh and I say "I do."
Bridesmaid
Abbe and I really aren't even sure how we became friends, but I am sure glad we did. We met in high school, and formed such a tight bond. We didn't get to spend as much time together as we would have liked, but every time we were together were such special times. We understood each other so easily, and could always pick up right where we left off, and that is still true to this day. Abbe has such a kind heart and a special spirit. She is the most genuine friend, and I know I am so lucky to have her in my life.
Bridesmaid
Nicole and I met a few months in to Josh and I's relationship, and it took some time for her to warm up to me I think, but now I can confidently say she is not just my future sister in law, but my friend. I have so loved getting to know her over the last year, and I can't wait to continue to get to know her for the rest of our lives. I am so blessed to get to have another sister in my life.
Best Man
Steven and I started as young middle schoolers who didn't share much in common other than our awkwardness. However, we pressed through the awkwardness and formed a friendship that has become a brotherhood over the past 14 years. While he does have some strange quirks (such as his disgust for the sun and sunscreen) he is one of the most important people in my life.
Groomsman
Corey and I met through mutual friends. Both of us being kind of awkward, it took a little while to form a friendship. However, it wasn't long before we realized how much we had in common. Now, I couldn't imagine him not being a part of my life. He is one of the most loyal and reliable friends I could ever ask for, and his love for his wife and children has set an example that I admire and look to match.
Groomsman
Aaron and I met while we both lived in Chattanooga. We were more acquaintances than friends at the beginning. When I moved back to Atlanta, Aaron knew he couldn't live with out me, so he moved to Atlanta as well. From there, the rest is history and no matter the distance between us, I will always consider him a brother.
Groomsman
Olin and I met when I started dating Amelia. But it feels like we met before then. Amelia and her mom, Julie, constantly reminded me how much I was like him especially when it comes to our sense of humor. So when we met, it didn't take long for us to get along. In the short time we've known each other, we've shared many laughs and great times together. Having always wanted a brother, I am so thankful that I will now have Olin to call a brother.
Groomsman
Nick and I met through mutual friends. However, Nick quickly won his way into my heart with his amazing cooking. In all seriousness, Nick has quickly become a great friend and someone I know I can rely on. We've bonded over many meals and great talks. Behind his tough exterior, is a huge heart and love for people. He truly is an example of what a great friend looks like.
