Amelia Yvette was raised in Rio Grande City, Texas. The oldest of 3 siblings, Amelia is the daughter of Ediel Saenz, retired oil field driller and Doralisa Reyes-Saenz, Tri- County Chief of Juvenile Probation in Starr County. Amelia now resides in Houston Texas where she is a Speech Therapist. Her favorite things to do are dance hip-hop and latin beats, she has a passion for inspiring others especially young women to seek their full potential. Amelia loves a good photo op and any excuse to enjoy a good margarita. She is an adventure seeker and lover of life. She also enjoys, design, fashion, and acting.

Jesse was born Jesus De La Luz Lopez , named after his late grandfather who was married to Amelia Lopez (crazy right?!). He is the oldest of his siblings. Jesse was raised in La Victoria, Texas. He currently resides in Houston, Texas where he is a Junior High History Teacher and Coach for Football, Basketball, and Track at Katy ISD. GO BULLDOGS! On his spare time he enjoys refurbishing Jordans, customizing shoes, thrifting , and songwriting. He is also the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan you will ever meet. Everything he does is for THE GIRL. IT'S ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT THE GIRL.

Steph, also known as "wifey", is Amelia's closest friend. They have been inseparable for the past 6 years. Steph and Mel met at a dance studio! Stephanie joined Amelia's at the time salsa performance team under the instruction of the one and only, SalsaEddy. Amelia was captain of the team and once Steph joined they became instant soul sisters. She resides in Houston where she does animal research for cancer treatments at MD Anderson. She gets to hangout with monkeys all day, so cool! Steph has been present through Amelia and Jesses love story since day 1. They continue to be the best of friends and are each others ride or die!

Jorgie Lopez is Jesse's little brother. Jorgie resides in La Victoria, Texas. He spends his spare time playing video games, playing sports, and jamming out. Jorgie has a smile that will light up a room. You will never see a frown on his face. He has a big heart and looks up to his older brother.

Dr. David is one of Amelia's closet friends. They too met on the dance floor over 5 years ago. Darelyn is the sweetest most relatable person you could ever meet. When she isn't killing it on the dance floor she enjoys spending her free time planting, reading, and cooking. She is always down for any adventure! She is just one of a kind.

Chris is Jesse''s childhood BEST FRIEND. He and Jesse grew up together and were inseperable as teenagers. Chris is now resides in Laredo, Texas where he is a Border Patrol Agent. Chris enjoys riding his JEEP, body art, and outdoor activities. Chris is always down for a good time and any excuse to enjoy an ice cold Budweiser.

Stephanie, is one of Amelia's childhood best friends. They went to high school and college together at the University of Texas A&M- Kingsville. Stephanie now resides in North Carolina where she is a successful audiologist. She has a big heart and loves her career. On her spare time she enjoys reading, playing with her dog Daphne and a good DIY project. Even though she is miles aways, she loves her Astros!

Johnny Joe is Jesse's guncle. He resides in the RGV where he is an award-winning school theatre director. He loves a great photo op, traveling, Queen Bey, and bomb cocktail. Johnny is a great advocate for all things peace and love. He is larger than life.

Troy is Jesse's younger uncle! Troy resides in La Victoria, Texas. Although, he is always on the road due to his job, he works for the oil & gas industry. On his spare time, Troy enjoys working on his Mustang, nights with the boys, and hardly ever misses a family gathering.

Nelda is Amelia's little sister. Nelda is 10 years younger than her big sis, therefore she is always looking up to her and asking for expert advise. Nelda has a huge heart and loves her family deeply. Also, she is the proudest Dog Mom we know lol. On her spare time she loves listening to country music, playing with her nieces, and bingeing Netflix!
Doralisa Saenz

Ameila's Mommy! Amelia has always looked up to her mother, from learning to be independent , getting educated, learning empathy, and loving unconditionally. Doralisa was born in San Antonio, Texas, but raised in La Grulla, Texas. She attended St. Mary's Univeristy and earned her bachelors degree in criminal justice, 30 years later working full time with 2 of her children in college she went back and earned her Master's Degree! She resides in RGC where she is the Chief of Juvenile Probation in Starr Co. On her spare time Lisa devotes her time to her grandchildren and giving back to the community.
Eddie Saenz
Father of the Bride
Amelia's Dad! Eddie is the life of the party! He is a firecracker. He is not afraid to speak his mind at any given moment lol you've been warned. Eddie is retired and lives on his ranch outside city limits where lives his best life and can drink as much beer as he wants. Eddie is an avid hunter, any time of the year he is hunting. Anything from quail to white tail deer or a good ole hunting trip He has excellent aim. He taught Amelia how to use a gun and how not to be afraid to use one. Classic country man. Before his hip surgery he was quite the dancing star, hence Amelia's love for dance. If you see him at the wedding dont be afraid to introduce yourself he is a teddy bear and will treat you like family!

Jesse's mom! Cecilia is a warm hearted caring mother to 3 children and grandmother of 3. She never misses an opportunity to open a bottle of wine and enjoy a deep conversation. She is a lover of Christ and loves a good DIY project. On her spare time she enjoys her 'me time' exercising, meditating, and shopping.

Jesse's Dad Jorge Lopez is a truck driver from the south. He has devoted his life to his trucks. In his younger days he would spend a lot of his time riding motorcycles and attending motorcycle events around Texas along with his wife. He like Amelia's father enjoys the wilderness and hunting wild game. Now a days he spends his free time cooking up the best Texas BBQ you can find and woodworking. If you see him at the wedding just know we forced him to wear that suit lol cheers to that!

Amelia's goddaughter. Ellie is Amelia's little brothers oldest daughter. She is a major Toy Story and Paw Patrol fan. She enjoys playing with her baby sister Maddie and spending time with Grandma Lisa.

Meet Gunther, he is the honorary best man. He has been by Amelia's side in Houston for the past 9 years. Surely you will get a chance to meet the handsome lad on wedding weekend. He enjoys short walks to the doggie station, occasional adventures to Target, and he LOVES his doggy dad, Jesse. Gunny is a first class certified therapy animal and has a doggy masters degree in making you fall in love with him and convincing you to trade your own dog in for a shih tzu. He loves belly rubs and is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.
